James Robert Duck

James Robert "Jimmy" Duck, 57, died Monday, April 9, 2007. He was a native and lifelong resident of Loxley.

Duck was employed for more than 30 years with Flowerwood Nursery in Loxley where he served as a supervisor. He was a lifelong member of Loxley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Pittman Duck of Loxley; a daughter, Melinda Duck Harville of Loxley; a son, J. Robert Duck Jr. of Mobile; two sisters, Amy Thomas of Foley and Laura Brown of Loxley; a brother, Pat Duck of Loxley; and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Loxley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Batchelor and the Rev. Jim Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley.

A visitation will be held 6 to 8 tonight at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Loxley United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 69, Loxley, AL 36551.

Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
