William was a wonderful person, who was always there to lend a hand when needed. He was the best dad anyone could have. He was a devoted husband and father and an awesome grandfather and one of his greatest joys was spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. William was a truck driver and, in his "spare" time, he liked to play golf and chess. He was a member of Hasse Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Cross and husband John of Popular Bluff Missouri and Jennifer Campbell and husband John of Hasse; son, James Thomas and wife LaQuita of Midland; brothers, Robert Brinkman and wife Rita of Boys Ranch, and George Brinkman and wife Paula of St. Louis, Missouri; numerous grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nellie Brinkman; and sister, Margret Hale.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Sardis Cemetery in Comanche County.
VISITATION: None scheduled
LUNCH: Lunch will be at the family home following the funeral services.
