SPENCER
In Springfield, January 31, Drusilla M. Spencer of 680 Beacon Circle, died from multiple trauma caused by falling down stairs. Funeral Thursday 1pm from Bryon Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St. Burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. No Calling hours. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation of the VNA of Western MA.
In 1910, at the age of 3, she lived with her mother, father, sister Marion, age 8, and brother Charles, age 6, at 128 Marion St. in Springfield.
By 1920 her family had moved to 117 Firglade Ave. in Springfield where Drusilla, now age 12, continued living with her mother, father, sister Marion, and brothers Charles and Winthrop. Drusilla was able to read, write, and speaks English. She is also attending school.
By 1930 her mother and father were divorced. Drusilla, now age 23, continued living with her mother at 48 Lester Street in Springfield with her brothers Charles and Winthrop. She had graduated from high school and was now a stenographer for MML Insurance company.
By 1940, Drusilla, still working at MML Insurance Company as she continued to do until her retirement, continued living with her mother Alice, who had by now had retired after working at the same insurance, still resided at 48 Lester St. as she continued to do so until later moving with her mother to 26 Chase Avenue in Springfield. Drusilla’s sister Marion had married and had left her husband and returned to live with her mother and sister.

The December 20, 1979 obituary for her mother list Drusilla living with her mother at 26 Chase Avenue, Springfield.
According to her obituary in the Springfield Newspaper and her death certificate, at the time of her death she was living at 680 Beacon Circle in Springfield.
She was never married.
She died as a result of multiple trauma caused by falling down stairs.
