Richard was a member of Moose Lodge 795.He was a loving father and grandfather.He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodcarving.He was a purchasing agent for Murray Enterprises.
He was preceded in death by his father,John Quincy Adams and brother,John Quincy Adams II.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie Adams of West Frankfort; daughter,Kellie Haskell and husband, Tommyof West Frankfort; two sons, Josh and Seth Adams of West Frankfort; mother,Geraldine Adams of West Frankfort;
8 grandchildren; sister-in-law,Mary Anne Adams of West Frankfort; two nephews,Adrian and Jarod Adams of West Frankfort; brother-in-law, Patrick Fleming of San Francisco; and two nieces, Gemma and Grace Fleming of Seattle.
Services were held at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort,with the Rev.Alan Summers officiating.
