Louise was the first child of Glen and Beulah (Hembree) Duncan. She attended Blue Eye schools until her family had to move due to the Great Depression. After trying Washington state, they eventually settled in Los Angeles. She studied stenography and typing at John C. Fremont High School as was customary for her day. She was a very fast and efficient typist. It was in Los Angeles that she met her husband. To this union two daughters were born. She became a homemaker and drove her daughters to Girl Scout meetings, music lessons, etc. As a grandmother, she picked up her grandchildren after school. She passed away in a nursing home, due to complications from dementia. She is survived by her daughters and two grandchildren, with one great-daughter on the way.
