Anne-Laure Arruebo was inspector with the Directorate-General of the Customs and the indirect Rights. After having climbed the steps, it had become responsible for the control of the diplomatic bags. According to a close relation of the family, "it was devoted much to its professional life". But it also benefitted from the Parisian life which it had learned how to like without to disavow its soft village of Quint-Fonsegrives. It is there that she had passed her childhood with her family, her two sisters and her parents. All must overcome an insupportable sorrow today. They know however that they will have at their side of many friends and a family linked like never.

"We were always, and will remain, very welded and more particularly in this difficult moment", entrusted Bernard Andreu, the uncle of Anne-Laure. This Toulouse was close to his/her niece. It reminds this "young woman who liked the literature, the concerts, arts, the spectacles… We always offered the Médicis price to her! We liked it and often saw it, in particular in Christmas because our family often meets for these festivals. What occurred is an immense drama…"

The town of Quint-Fonsegrives quickly testified to the marks of affection to the family. A support quasi-daily newspaper. The mayor Bernard Soléra on several occasions said to himself "very touched by this disappearance". It announced that a sheaf would be deposited. The French flag will be also deployed at the time of the ceremony.

On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 2:30 PM the funeral was held in the church of Quint-Fonsegrives. She was then buried in the family vault, in the cemetery of Salonika in Toulouse. Anne-Laure Arruebo is this Quint-Fonsegrivoise fallen under the bullets from the terrorists, on Friday, November 13, 2015 in Paris. She was 36 years old. Like many Parisians, after a week of work, she had chosen a cafe in rue de Charonne to enjoy the autumnal mildness, over a drink. Anne-Laure had settled with her terrace in company of a very good friend and colleague, Cécile Coudon Peccadeau de l'Isle. The two women did not survive the attack.
