Peter Hamilton Blystone was the son of Peter Isaac Blystone and Emma Ann Clubb.
Peter was a carpenter in Waco, Texas, before joining the U. S. Army where he served for thirty years. He worked on building a mess hall during World War I at Fort McKinley. He helped build Frooks General Hospital and a Barrack at Fort Sam Houston.
During World War II, Peter helped develop a electrical can opener and crusher for Washington Dispatch.
Peter married Ethel Clubb Peel, daughter of Colbert B Clubb and Susan Sandifer in 1919. Peter adopted the son of Ethel and her first husband around 1920.

Peter married his second wife Carrie Hoots after the death of his first wife.
