She married Augustus Bradford on November 10, 1835. She was age 17 at the time. They had twelve children, of whom seven survived their father.

Baltimore Sunpapers, December 28, 1894:
Mrs. Elizabeth Kell Bradford, aged seventy-seven years, who was the widow of Augustus W. Bradford, a former Governor of Maryland, and who was a daughter of Judge Thomas Kell, died suddenly of Bright’s disease yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Elizabeth) McElderry, 19 West Twentieth street.
Mrs. Bradford was born on the old Kell homestead, “Oak Hill,” on the Philadelphia road. She married when seventeen years of age, and then went to live at her husband’s home, “Montevideo.” On Charles street extended, a portion of which is now occupied by the Elkridge Hunt Club.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Thomas McElderry, Miss Jane Bradford, and Miss Emily Bradford, and three sons, T. Kell Bradford, a lawyer and notary public, Augustus W. Bradford, a real estate agent, and Samuel W. Bradford, a lawyer, residing in Chicago.

Governor Bradford had purchased 125 acres at the current site of the Elkridge Country Club on Charles Street for $12,000 in 1854, and built a large house on the hill. This house was burned by Confederate troops on July 11, 1864, but the tenant house, which was to be the Elkridge clubhouse, was unharmed. Elkridge was to eventually own most of the original Bradford land.

Daughter Elizabeth McElderry died June 9, 1915 in Harford County at the home of her daughter Mrs. Robert Heighe. Survived by two brothers, Augustus Bradford of Bel Air, and Samuel W. Bradford, and two daughters and two sons.
Son Thomas Kell Bradford died July 15, 1906 in Concord, N.H. Buried in Baltimore. His widow was the former Jennie Mayer. He was in the Princeton class of 1872.
