Wheelock recently was discharged from the army air forces, in which he served as a meteorologist. It was his third marriage. In 1929, he married Dorothy Rend of Chicago in New York. They were divorced here in 1936. In 1938 he married Mrs. Eleanor Garner Wilder in Auburn, N. Y.

It was Miss Astor's fourth marriage. Her first was to Kenneth Hawks, film director, who was killed in an airplane crash in 1929. Her second, to Dr. Franklyn Thorpe, ended In a divorce in 1935 after excerpts from Miss Astor's diary, divulged by Dr. Thorpe, had rocked Hollywood. Husband 'No. 3 was Manuel Martinez del Campo, Mexico City insurance man. They were divorced in 1942.

The studio said Miss Astor announced that the ceremony took place at the home of John Le Mahin, screen writer, who served as best man. Miss Astor's daughter, Marilyn, was maid of honor. Miss Astor was born Lucile Vasconcells Langhanke in Quincy, IL.
