Charles Adelbert "Dell" Myers was the son of Charles L Myers (immigrant from Germany) and Clarissa Louise Gillett.

Although born in Erie County, by 1855 his parents had moved to Richland, then to Oswego City, his mother's parents having also moved from Erie County to Oswego County recently. He grew up in Oswego City where his father Charles was a tailor.

He first married Adelin (name on gravestone of daughter Ida Maude) or Adelice (maiden name unknown), and the couple had one child, Ida Maude, born in 1880.

About 1883 he married Lettie Sage, the daughter of John and Mary Sage.

They lived together in Pulaski with his first daughter (who died in 1897), until Lettie's death in 1913, and his death 1916.

His father Charles lived nearby, he died in 1917. His mother died in 1913.

Adelbert Myers Dead

Pulaski, Nov. 9--Adelbert Myers died on Tuesday night at his home in this village, aged sixty-five years. He had been ill for many months. He is survived by his father, Charles L Myers. His wife died several years ago. The funeral will be held from the home in Glen avenue at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial at Sandy Creek.

Adelbert Myers died at his home in Pulaski Tuesday, November 7, after a long and lingering illness. Funeral services wil be held on Friday with burial in Woodlawn cemetery, beside, his wife, who passed away several years ago. Mrs. Myers was a sister to Mrs. Ella Noyes of this village.
