State Regent: Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Washington State — 1897‐1900 Organized State’s first chapter, Mary Ball in Tacoma. Served under President Generals: Mrs. Adlai E. Stevenson & Mrs. Daniel Manning. In Washington State donations were made to the Red Cross & the Emergency Relief Fund. Members rolled bandages and made “housewife” kits, funds were sent to the NSDAR towards the purchase of a hospital ship tender.
