Earl J. Bixby
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ross Hollywood Chapel for Dr. Earl J. Bixby, 4848 NE Roselawn St., who died Friday of injuries received in an auto accident. Committal will be private in Riverview Abbey.
Dr. Bixby was born May 22, 1896, in Hammond, Wis., and came to Portland 42 years ago. He was a member of the Oregon State Dental Association, Aero Club and the Rose City Park Methodist Church.
He is survived by the widow, Helen; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Kemp, Juneau, Alaska and Mrs. Mary Earl Harmon, Clear, Alaska; sisters Mrs. Florence Nelson, Richmond, Calif., and Mrs. Miriam Bonney, Snohomish, Wash.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
