Taylor Man Shot
J. D. Teaff, 40, trucker, was found shot to death in his home here Tueaday night.
A bullet had passed through his head, and a gun was clasped between his legs, officers investigating the case said.

Teaff was at his home on the Corner of Tenth and Washborn and had been talking to his partner, John Wendland, who was driving off when the shot was heard. Motive for the shooting was not known.
The Rev. Charles McClain, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the services and will be made in the Taylor City cemetery.

Funeral services were held at the Tucker and Sloan Funeral home Thursday morning for Jimmie Teaff, truck driver, who was found fatally shot late Tuesday with the gun in his hand and a head wound and the bullet in the opposite wall. The Rev. Charles McClain, pastor of the First Baptist church officiated and burial was in the Taylor City cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, four children, Kathleen, Madaline, Wallace and Jimmie, Jr., his father, D. U. Teaff, one brother, Jack Teaff and two sisters in North Texas.
