Charles Arnold, 82, of China Spring, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 13, 2022.
Graveside Service: 11AM Tuesday, May 17 at China Spring Cemetery.
Charles Brennon Arnold, II was born February 13, 1940 in Harris Co., TX and was reared in Baytown and Big Spring. He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1958. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas. Charles taught school in Monahans; then worked at El Paso Products in Odessa until 1983, and then was a consultant in the interim from 1983-1984. He taught computer programming at TSTC in Waco from 1984-2002.
He married his soul mate, Amy Eyssen on September 22, 1962 in Big Spring. Together, they lived in Austin, Monahans, Odessa for 19 years, and finally to China Spring in 1984. He was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church since 2002. Charles loved his family dearly. He was very involved in his children's and grandchildren's lives.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Amy Arnold; and parents, Cruce Booker (CB) Arnold and Bettye Z. (Wallace) Arnold.
Survivors include daughter, Andrea Anderson and husband Brian; son, Brennon Arnold and wife Kim; grandchildren, Ashli Kubista and husband Kyle, Jennifer Gibbs and husband Brandon, Michael Arnold and wife K'Lee, and Stephen Arnold; great grandchildren, Karson, Elias, and Adeline Kubista, and Collyns and Callen Gibbs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to South Texas Children's Home.
