The funeral of Mrs. Blance I. Blackwell, 74, who died in her home, Route 113, West Monroe, Sunday, was held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Kilpatrick Funeral chapel with Rev. E. L. Tanner officiating.
Pallbearers were Travis Ellis, C. S. Feazel, E. E. Eaves, Maurice White, Sam Humphries and W. G. Haynes, Jr.
Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband, T. H. Blackwell; a daughter, Mrs. S. J. Basil, Beaumont, Tex.; a grandson, Jack Basil and two great-grandchildren.
