Marvin Lamb, 88 of Big Spring died Thursday, May 3, 2018 in a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Monday, May 7, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born August 16, 1929 in Quitman, Arkansas and married Lola Belle Morris February 17, 1952 in Big Spring, Texas.

Marvin served in the United States Air Force.

He worked for AT&T and retired as a repairman in 1983, and he owned and operated Big Dipper Donut Shop.

He was a member of the Big Spring Prospectors Club and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Lamb of Big Spring; one son, Jerry Lamb and wife, Debbie of Lewisville; one daughter, Donna Love and husband, Jack of Big Spring; four grandchildren, Josh Love and wife, Monique of Lubbock, James Love and wife, Kristen of Big Spring, Laci Burgess and husband, J. J. of Melbourne, Florida, and Jason Lamb and wife, Shelby of Krum; six great-grandchildren, Makayla Love and fiancé, Brodey Gorman, J. R. and Judd Lamb, and Jaxson and Tobin Burgess and Justen Love; one great-great-grandchild, Blaine Gorman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Alice Lamb; two brothers, Ted Lamb and Eugene Lamb; and one sister, Marvel Scott.
