LTC Benjamin F. Haines was wounded three times in battle. Second Battle of Bull Run, Battle of Gettysburg, and Battle of Hatcher’s Run.
After the war LTC Haines worked as a railroad dispatcher and lived on South Main Street in Phillipsburg, New Jersey at the Charles Sitgreaves complex of homes. He married Jennie Sitgreaves Tolles on May 22, 1888.
