"Brief Illness Fatal To Mrs. Pemberton
Mrs. Margaret Ann Pemberton, 71, of 605 Third Avenue North, died Sunday afternoon at her home following a brief illness. She was born in Foxdale, Isle of Man, April 24, 1867, and came to Virginia 26 years ago. Surviving are her husband, John Henry; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Love, and Mrs. Ben Buerket, Cleveland; a son, Louis, Milwaukee; seven grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the Cron Funeral home until Tuesday noon when it will be taken to the First Methodist church to lie in state until funeral services at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. J. D. Butler officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery."
