Marilyn Kay Ayers, age 67, a McMinnville, Tn resident and Grundy County, Tn native
was born October 26, 1950 and died May 6,2018 in Saint Thomas River Park Hospital
following a sudden illness.
She was a former employee of Seaboard Farms Bouldin and Lawson and retired rece
ptionist of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Company, member of Cornerstone Method
ist Church in Chattanooga, Tn and daughter of the late Harlie Everett and Etta Bea
Nunley Clendenon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings
Elsie Willene Clendenon and Clifford Eugene Clendenon.
Mrs. Ayers was married March 26, 1998 to Earl Ayers, Sr. who survives. In addition
to her husband , she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Nasim Tanner of Sunnyvale, Ca.; two grandchildren, Ryan and Melody Tanner, two sisters
Janie Mayberry and Judy Cox both of McMinnville, brother and sister-in-law, Stanley
and Jean Clendenon of McMinnville; nieces, Constance Mayberry, Amanda Bruce, Brittany Smith and Cindy Clendenon; nephew, Jeff Clendenon; special
great-nephews, Isaac Bruce, David Smith and Javen Elkins; step-children, Earl
Ayers II , Lisa Ayers, Jason Ayers, Ehren Ayers, Bethany Broughton and Justin Ayers; step- grandchilren, Joshua Roark, Rebecca McDaniel, Jacob Roark, Madisun
Ayers, Kassidy Schoenick and Steven Schoenick and step great grandchildren
Delilah, Carter and Maxwell.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m.Thursday May 10 at High's Parlor with Tony Lawrence to officiate. Visitation will be 2 p.m. Thursday until time of service at High's.
