Tech/Sgt Martin L. Malone, Retired, age 78 years, was the son of William E. and Mary Ellen (Kline) Malone of Harrisburg. He was a retired Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with 22 years of service and served in the U.S. Presidential Honor Guard. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 34 years of service. He was a life member of American Legion Post 272 and served on their Honor Guard an as Sergeant of Arms. He was also a life member of VFW Post 148 Harrisburg and attended Charlton United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth J. (Williams) Malone; three sons, Randy B. and his wife Robyn of Mt. Holly Springs, Mark S. and his wife Cathy of Harrisburg, and Mike D. and his wife Donna of Crofton, MD; a daughter Martina R. Williams and her husband Gregg of Camp Hill; two sisters, Adelaile Mahek of Harrisburg and Kitty Brookhart of Baltimore MD; 5 grandchildren, a great grandson, 4 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren.
Services were held at Hoover Funeral Home, with burial and full military honors at Blue Ridge Memorial Cemetery.
