Mary A. Bowe-McCarthy "Mollie" passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 8, 2018. She was born to the late James and Marie McCarrick (nee Lampkin) on June 30, 1923 in West Conshohocken.
Beloved wife to the late Laurence McCarthy, dear mother to the late John Bowe, Julia "Julie" Morello (Joe), Joyce Gadzicki, loving aunt to Jack Bigoski, step mother to Larry McCarthy, James McCarthy, Michael McCarthy, and Susan Shaughnessy, doting grandmother to Dawn Nave, John Bowe, Michele Alteiri, Joseph Morello, Megan Daubert, Tracey Conroy, great grandmother of 19, sister to the late Doris Mullen, the late Rita Montemayor, and the late William McCarrick, and friend to many.
Before marrying Laurence in 1996, Mollie was the devoted wife of 48 years to John Bowe before his passing in 1990.
Mollie was a hard worker, devoting over 32 years to Bell Telephone Company of PA serving as manager. She was also very creative, spending much of her free time crafting, making doll houses, and making clothing. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mollie's Life Celebration on Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 10 to 10:50AM at Visitation BVM Church of Norristown, 196 N. Trooper Rd followed by her Funeral Mass at 11AM. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
