Daughter of James and Ann Vassar, sister of Matthew Vassar, the founder of Vassar College.

From the Wednesday April 30, 1834 Poughkeepsie Journal:

In this village, on Saturday the 27th inst., Mrs. Keziah Atkinson, daughter of Mr. James Vassar, aged 35. Her friends and acquaintances and those of the family, are invited to attend her funeral this day, at 2 o'clock, P. M. from the Baptist meeting house.
