Mrs. Leaquieta Lyons Gardner was surrounded by family when she went home on May 10th, 2018 at the age of 71.
Leaquieta is survived by her husband, John Gardner; her son, Kevin Gardner and wife Christy; her son, Steve Gardner and wife Glynda; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and others that she has loved as her very own.
Leaquieta was born on July 21, 1946 in Diehlstadt, Missouri to L.A. and Elsie Lyons. She has been married to the love of her life for 53 years.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, May 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration Of Life Service from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Leaquieta's life. Graveside Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Leaquieta is known for sending out cards to so many people for birthdays, sympathy, and other occasions. Flowers are certainly welcome, but a card to the family would also be a great honor to Leaquieta.
