Albert A. Abdallah of Lucas Avenue, Town of Ulster died Tuesday, November 23, 2004. He was 85.

He was born in Kingston on September 7, 1919, a son of the late George and Effie Amrod Abdallah. Al served in the US Army during WW II as a Sergeant in the European Theater of Operations.

For over 30 years he worked for Hudson Cement where he operated a crusher. Al, for many years, also owned and operated Abdallah's Rug and Carpet, Kingston.

He was a member of the Joyce - Schirick Post 1386, V.F.W. and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church where he served as usher.

Two brothers Joseph and John Abdallah and one sister Julia Perry all died previously.

Surviving are his wife Mildred Donnelly Abdallah; three sons Joseph A. Abdallah of Jacksonville, Florida; Philip Abdallah of Oceanside, California and Geoffrey G. Abdallah and his wife Leslie of Rifton; one daughter Elise Clausi of Palenville; seven grandchildren Shawna, Amber, Lindsay, Mariah and Abey Belle Abdallah, Heather and Vincent Clausi; two great grandchildren Mia Ivanowski and Joseph Abdallah. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
