Obituary for Rex D. Todd

Rex D. Todd, 61, of Nashville passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born, September 20, 1956 in Bloomington, he was the son of Oval and Faye (Kinser) Todd.

Rex was a Superintendant for many local construction companies including O'Mara Construction in North Vernon and E & B Paving in Bloomington. He was Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the American Legion Post #18 in Bloomington. Rex was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who enjoyed Sprint Car Racing.

Survivors include his son, Lloyd Christesen Todd (Shannon), grandchildren, Jeyden and William Christesen all of Nampa, Idaho, mother, Faye (Kinser) Todd of Nashville, sister, Angie Gott (Jeff) of Bloomington, nephews, Jeffrey D. Gott (Christine) of Franklin, Tanner W. Gott, and Lacey N. Gott both of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his father, Oval A. Todd (2001).

Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, April 2, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Gott officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery in Brown County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Worship Center, 200 Lenvoil Rd. Martinsville, IN 46151.
