Clarence Lillyblade, 56, died after a brief illness in his home on Sycamore street in northeast Mt. Pleasant Tuesday Evening about 11 o'clock. He lived alone.
He was born in February, 1894, in Jefferson county. He was a farmer until moving to Mt. Pleasant 15 years ago.
He is survived by a son, Eugene Lillyblade of Davenport, four sisters, Mrs. Victoria Van Winkle of Brighton, Mrs. Joe Dilley of Lockridge, Mrs. Anna Benson of Lockridge, Mrs. Eva Black of fairfield and two brothers, Fred Lillyblade of Lockridge and Theodore Lillyblade of Eldon, also by one grandchild.
The service will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Crane Funeral home.
