Garey J. Soule, 62, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully Monday evening, May 7th, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Syracuse on July 4, 1955, he was the son of Verle and Emily Soule. He was a graduate of Bishop Grimes High School. Garey retired after 30 years from New Process Gear.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, playing the guitar and going to the casino. Garey was a member of the UAW 624. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law, Dave Rivito.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Mary Soule; daughters, Lisa (Tom) Hild and Emily (Sean Meehan) Soule; brothers, David (Annette) Soule, Thomas Soule, Robert (Paula) Soule, James (Brenda) Soule, Steven Soule, Frederick Soule, Douglas (Victoria) Soule, and Jeffery (Jamie) Soule; sisters, Linda Rivito and Debra (Gary) Berger; grandchildren, Cora, Wyatt and Poppy; step mom, Wanda Soule; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Crouse Irving 4th floor south for their compassion and wonderful care for Garey.
Calling hours will be Saturday, May 12th from 1 to 2 pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Road, Minoa. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.
