Entering the gates of heaven, Caroline leaves behind the love of her life, her husband Joseph and her children whom she considered her greatest blessings: Ann Margaret (Brandon), Suzanne (Clint), Michael (Crystal), Jennifer (Joseph), Timothy (Andrea), and her stepsons Richard and Robert. She also leaves behind 17 adored grandchildren, two sisters, Rosemarie Williams (Richard) and Mary Agnes Wilson, her brother, Alfred Souza (Karen), numerous nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
Born in Merced, California, to Joseph and Margaret Souza, Caroline grew up in Le Grand, California and graduated from Le Grand High School and Merced College. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, two grandsons, and several unborn little angels.
Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Belmont, California. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos. Reception to follow at the Lucie Stern Community Center Ballroom in Palo Alto.
