Candice S. Martin age 47, of Cartersville, Ga. passed away Tuesday March 06, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center. Candice was born on January 09, 1971, to William Lewis Strickland and Jean McNair Stewart. Candice was a Pre-K teacher with the Bartow County School System until retirement. She Loved the outdoors and animals. Candice was a member of the Stamp Creek Baptist Church. She is loved by her family and friends and will be missed very much. She is preceded in death by her father William Lewis Strickland. Survivors include a son William Jefferson Martin of Cartersville, mother Jean Stewart and step-father W. Dekle Stewart of Dallas, Ga. two step- brothers Douglas D. Stewart and Joseph P. Stewart. Funeral services for Candice Martin will be conducted Saturday March 10,2018 at 1:30pm at Stamp Creek Baptist Church in White ,Ga. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Cemetery on mission road, Cartersville, Ga. Speakers will be Travis Davis and Corey Martin. Visitation will be Friday evening March 09, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Pallbearers are Cody McNair, Will Martin, Parker Martin, Doug Stewart, Joe Stewart, Patrick McNair and Adam McNair.
