Obituary of Isabella Neathery from Paris News, Paris, Lamar County, Texas
April 8, 1920
Mrs. Isabell Neathery, wife of Judge C. S. Neathery, died last evening about seven o'clock after an illness which had held her bed fast for several months. The funeral service will be held in the Catholic Church. The interment to take place in Evergreen. Isabella Ryan was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky seventy-three years ago. She was one of six sisters and four brothers and, excepting for the one brother, A. O. Ryan, who was killed by an accident ten years ago, all of this remarkable family are yet living, the oldest sister being eighty-three years of age. When Mrs. Neathery was only seven years of age, the family moved to Paris, and with the exception of short periods of residence with her children outside Paris, her whole life except that time has been spent in the city.
