He was born June 9, 1941at Barbour County, a son of the late Joe Hill and Carrie Golden Hill.
He is survived by his care givers, Karen and Larry Carpenter, Pam and Emory Simmons and Vicky Pomp all of Belington. Also surviving are several cousins, and a whole host of friends, who looked out for him including the Freedom Bank employees and members of the Belington V.F.W.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Bob Hill.
Donnie attended the schools of Barbour County. He was previously employed at a rebar factory in North Carolina and had also done other various odd jobs. He attended the Faith Deliverance Ministries Church in Belington. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N Brandenburg Street in Belington Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 10 am-2 pm the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Robert Ware officiating.
