John Lewis Bolt, 79, of Blue Ridge, joined a great heavenly reunion on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was a longtime member of Mountain View Baptist Church and a self-employed plumber of many years dedicated to his profession. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Cephas and Ida Mary Bolt; brothers, Luther H. Bolt and Olie Bolt; sister, Goldie Winn; son-in-law, Kevin Scott Benson; great-grandson, Ashton Scott Benson. Surviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 54 years, Annie Mae Bolt; daughter, Donna Benson; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Sayford Meadows; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Doc Clark; grandchildren, Brian Benson, Kyndal Meadows Lloyd, Casey Benson, Nate Meadows, and Jamie Seidell; two great-grandchildren, Evan Lewis Lloyd and Maggie Benson; sister, Evena Sutphin, and brother and sister-in-law Oscar L. and Judy Bolt. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesay, October 8, 2014 at Oakey's East Chapel with the Rev.
