CALVIN PENNY DIES IN WRECK
Calvin E. Penny, 24, Oklahoma City, was killed about 3:45 a. m. Friday in an auto wreck in Oklahoma City.
He was killed when his car collided at SE 29 and Sunnylane with a car driven by Bobby A. Hansen, 22, Oklahoma City. He died of a crushed skull and internal injuries. A passenger with Penny was critically injured.
Born at Garvin December 4, 1927, he resided in this county until 1941, when he went to Long Beach. He was in service during World War II, and he moved to Oklahoma City in 1946. He worked for his brother, A. J. Penny, at an Oklahoma City service station. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aud E. Penny, Oklahoma City; two brothers, A. J. Penny, Oklahoma City, and Owen Penny, Idabel, and one sister, Mrs. G. R. Jackson, Pomona, Calif.
Arrangements and burial in Denison cemetery were under direction of Wilson funeral home.
