Nicholas Fera was a Sergeant for the Police Department in Norwalk, Connecticut. He served 19 years for the Police Force, dying in the line of duty at age 45. Sgt. Fera was in the process of arresting two armed robbery suspects who had just robbed a local Bank. Sgt. Fera spotted the suspect's vehicle and stopped them. Without warning, a gun battle ensued. Sgt.
