LYDIA HELEN AMES, 76, of West Siloam Springs, OK, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007 at her home.

Helen was born on March 26, 1931 in Colcord, OK, a daughter of Harold Roscoe Bayless and Margaret Ann Dill Bayless. She was the widow of the late Clifford Ames, whom she married on Feb 6, 1952 in Springdale, AR and preceded her in death on March 26, 2004. She retired from the La-Z-Boy Co. after working there for 14years. She was Pentecostal and graduated from the Power & Light Gospel School of Evangelism and was a licensed as a Minister in Jan 1998.

She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Ames, one Grandson, Dwayne Ames and one brother, Clifford Dill.

Services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 2:00pm. Rev. Jeff Pierce will officiate the service, with burial being held at the Bell Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from 2 - 8 pm
