Bennie George Owens passed away on May 20th, 2018 at 4:53 P.M.
Mr. Owens has received his reward for his hard work, his dedication, leadership, and wisdom, which he shared with all of us. I have no doubt he was received in Heaven, and was met by his beloved companion in life; Ruth Miriam (Dolan) Owens who would be waiting to welcome him in.
It was Mr. Owens wish to follow the same path as his beloved wife, Ruth, did at this time; he had arranged that he be 'Donated to Science', that he wanted to contribute to his fellow man even after passing on.
Bennie G. Owens is survived in his immediate family, by his daughter, Gail (David), his son, Mark (Anita). His granddaughters, Kirby, Karen and Mary.
A memorial service will be held at the Weems Creek Baptist Church (600 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401) on June 2nd, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. A 'light fare' will be offered after the service at the church.
The family request that contributions be made to any of the many Masonic Sponsored Charities, or to the Weems Creek Baptist Church, in lieu of flowers.
