Robert E. (Bo) Allen, 69, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Hannibal, passed away at 4:08 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

A private memorial service with full military honors by Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post #55 will be held at a later date.

Robert was born March 29, 1949 in Hannibal, to Richard M. Allen and Ila June Shannon Allen.

Survivors include one daughter, Alisa Todd (David); four grandchildren, Lea Creech (Joshua), John Todd, Brandon Todd and Joseph Todd; and three great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Aaron and Audra Creech, all of Hannibal.

He is also survived by five brothers, Daniel, Richard, Ronald, Michael and Thomas Allen; one sister, Barbara Ingram; and one brother-in-law, Bill Huckstep.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, June Ann Huckstep.

Robert proudly served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War.

Robert worked as a self-employed contractor and was a gifted carpenter. He was especially proud to have been employed as a carpenter at the estate of famed country musician, George Jones.
