Mrs George M'Neely a Victim of Cancer.

Well-known young matron passed away in this city Thursday evening

Mrs Alta A McNeely, thirty-three years old, wife of George McNeely, died at five o'clock Thursday evening at their home, 534 east Broadway, her death being caused by cancer from which she had been suffering for several months. Her condition had been critical for weeks and her friends and relatives knew her life could not be spared. Mrs. McNeely also realized she must answer the final call and patiently awaited the end, her only cause for worry being that she must leave motherless her darling children.
Mrs. McNeely was born in the southern part of this county, April 11, 1880, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Maze, who survive her and are now residents of this city.
Mrs. McNeely was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a kind hearted Christian woman. She was a faithful wife and a mother devoted to the interest of her family.
She is survived by her husband and six small children, Noral, Roscoe, Lucile, Cecil, Mable, and Morris. She also leaves two sisters and four brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Armedia Philippi, near Geneva; Mrs. Bertha Hatton, of the Geneva vicinity, and the brothers are Frank, Andrew, Fred, and Jesse Maze, all of this county.
The funeral services will be conducted at eleven o'clock Sunday morning in the Norristown M. E. church by the Rev. Samuel D. Hawkins. The cortege will leave the home at nine o'clock Sunday morning, and interment will be made to the Norristown cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix.
