Joseph Lee Perenkovich , 63 of Wooster, passed away May 23, 2018. He was born on November 23, 1954 in Barberton, OH to the late George and Marlene Perenkovich. Joe served his country proudly and retired from the US Army after 20 yrs. He also worked for 14 yrs. and logged 1.5 million miles from W.L. Logan Trucking Co. He was a member of the American Legion Post 68 in Wooster OH.
Joe is survived by his children Joseph L. Jr. (Stephanie) Perenkovich and Alicia Perenkovich; Grandchildren Ellee and Bryson; long-time companion Sandy Holderbaum; his siblings Terry (Erma) Perenkovich of Clinton, OH, Karen and Mark Perenkovich of Thorton, CO, Jeanie (Edward) Foose of Lodi, Cherie (Carl) Nash of Grafton, Pam (Michael) Chokenea of Lubbock, TX, Steven (Bobbie) Chokenea of Polk, OH, and Amanda (Tim) Chokenea of Elyria, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at The Chapel, 1391 State Rd Wadsworth, OH 44281.
A burial with military honors will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, before the service at the church at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. , Seville, 44256.
