Leonard Paul Rucker, 70, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at his home after a brief illness.
Leonard was born July 4, 1947, in Maysville, KY to the late Tivis & Mary Hitch Rucker.
Leonard worked for Doyle Mobile Homes, Kentucky Stone, Toyo Seat and was a driver for Licking Valley CAP. He was a lifelong member of Wallingford Methodist Church. Leonard served his country in the United State Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mignon Muse Rucker; his daughter, Ceonia and husband Tony Leet of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Hannah Leet, Heather Leet, Katie Price, Maria Price, Gracie Price, Conner Price and Skyler Price; his brothers, Mac (Bonnie) Rucker and Earl (Carla) Rucker; his sisters, Margie (Johnny) Arthur, Wanda Rucker, Neva Rucker Nash and Ava (Tim) DeAtley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Lois Roberts and Daniel Rucker.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Wallingford United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Hickerson officiating. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.
Leonard will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 -8 p.m., Tuesday, at the church.
