Elderly Man Killed In Accident on 108
A 71 year-old man from Inglewood was killed in an automobile accident Tuesday night on Highway 108 three-quarters of a mile above Little Sweden ski hill.
Charles Elliott Butler was fatally injured when the car he was driving went out of control on the curving highway and crashed into an embankment. He was thrown from the car. His wife, the only other occupant of the vehicle, was not injured.
Butler was traveling westward when the accident occured. Time of the accident was set at 9:20 p.m.
Funeral services are pending at Terzich-Wilson Funeral Home (in Sonora, California.)
