Louettrice was my grandfather's (Joe Bryant) sister. Ulysses was already his brother-in-law as Joe Bryant was married to Ulysses' sister, Mary Etter Cravens.
From the May 5, 1931 Adair County News:
Mr. U. S. Cravens, 62 years of age, died at his home near Roy, on Friday morning at four o'clock. He had been an invalid for eleven years. The deceased is survived by his wife and several small children [and] also several children by a former marriage. Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Church Saturday morning. Interment was in the cemetery at that place.
