She spent most of her life in Winter Haven and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1987. She was a teachers aide at Limona Elementary School and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include husband Louis Funk; daughter Melissa Mincey; sons, Michael Mincey, David Funk and Daniel Funk; brothers, Calvin Edenfield and Rhul Edenfield; sisters, Blanche Curruth, Mary Fleming and Erma Lee Powers; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
