"MRS. DANN DEAD
A Former Resident and Large property Owner Here
Mrs. Jane G. Dann, widow of the late Jesse Dann, died Sunday morning of heart failure at her home in Buffalo, aged 80 years. She was a daughter of William Alexander, the first merchant in Little Falls, and was a sister of the late Col. H. B. Alexander. She resided in this place until about 45 years ago, when she removed to Buffalo.
Mrs. Dann owned all the buildings on the south side of Main Street from Ann to Quinn's bakery, including the latter. She also owned a good many tenement houses in this village and several valuable lots in Manheim.
Her heirs are her son, Edward Dann, of Buffalo, and the children of her late son, Henry Dann, of the same city.
The remains will arrive in this village Wednesday afternoon and will be entered in the cemetery here."
