Annie retired in 2006 from Larue D. Carter Hospital as a transitional care specialist after 41 years of employment. She was a member of Bethesday Missionary Baptist Church.
Annie is survived by her husband, Rev. Floyde L. Carson, Sr.; two sons, William Cooley Jr. (Terri), Warren Cooley Sr. (Latonia); one daughter, Lisa R. Cooley; two sisters, Mary L. Dodson, Regina M. Irons (Johnny); five brothers, Herman C. Hatcher of Milwaukee, Gilbert L. Hatcher Jr. (Allene) of Wadesboro, NC, Jesse O. Hatcher Sr., Wilbert L. Hatcher, Lionel J. Hart (Jeraldine) of Birmingham, AL; one aunt, Gertrude Coleman of Detroit; one sister-in-law, Terri Hart; four granddaughters; two grandsons; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many, many other cousins, relatives and friends.
