She was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden and the wife of the late James Frank Bevis, Sr. Mrs. Bevis was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by son, Frank Bevis, , Gadsden; grandchildren, James Frank Bevis, III, Gadsden; Deborah McKiven, Hokes Bluff; great-grandchildren, Jimmy Ray McKiven; Jason Robert McKiven and a cousin, Frank J.
