Ilene is survived by three loving children; Kathy (Ken Howatt) Light, Shari (Mike) Dennison, and Mike Light and the extended loving Light family, grandchildren, Aaron (Kiley) Aidt, Brock Howatt, Mason and Colin Light, also 2 great-grandchildren; Layla and Nora Aidt, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ilene lived in Bucyrus all her life. She graduated from Bucyrus High School Class of 1955. Ilene retired from Key Bank in Bucyrus. She was a Co-Owner of Winks Lock Shop with Ed. She also loved traveling with Ed to Myrtle Beach and New England. She loved traveling to visit family in various other states as well. She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Choir, Lady Elks, and her card club family, and many other activities.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Officiating services is Pastor Michael Greenler. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood cemetery. Memorials may be made to Stained Glass Window Fund or Choir both at Good Hope.
