Alfred G. Porpora, Sr., age 84, died peacefully at his residence in Eastchester on May 12, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Secondina. Dear father of Frank Porpora, Lori DeMichele, Michael Porpora and Alfred Porpora, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Suzanne and Paul DeMichele, Alison, Nicole, Morgan, Alyse, Victoria, Alex and Juliana Porpora. Alfred was the owner of the Exxon Service Station in Heathcote, Scarsdale since 1951. He was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed traveling. Friends may visit on Saturday, 7 to 9 and Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Eastchester. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 15th, 10:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church followed by interment at Holy Mount Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute to Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps (EVAC), Box 482, Scarsdale, NY 10583 or the family requests white flowers.
