Bessie Mae Freeman Bailey, 83, of Danville, passed away on May 29, 2018. Born on January 4, 1935, in Startex, S.C., she was a daughter of Samuel Jackson Freeman and Bertie Williams Freeman. She was married to the late John Mason Bailey. She was a member of Moffett Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, John Bailey (Vickie), Jerry Bailey (Carlene) and Dennis Bailey (Laurie); seven grandchildren. Burial will be at Highland Burial Park.
