Harley Damon Swanson, of Oceano, California, passed away April 10, 2018. He was 78. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Bonnie Swanson (Lavon). He was a beloved uncle, husband, son and brother and was loved by many. He is preceded in death by his parents Madeline and Howard "Pro" Swanson and his brother Herman Swanson and sister Gloria Swanson (Gish). He is survived by brothers Hubert and Halbert Swanson. He had many accomplishments throughout his life including advanced degrees in Microbiology (University of Colorado, Boulder), Doctorate in Veterinary Science (Colorado State University), and a degree in Law (University of New Hampshire). He earned several patents and he was COO of Birko Corporation. He was born and raised in Colorado (Commerce City) and he lived in Colorado, New Hampshire and California."
